Photopraphy by Hajo Pirenz

Inspired by the ever-changing landscapes of the southwest of Ireland, Hajo’s photography explores mood, structure, and atmosphere. His work focuses primarily on black-and-white landscape photography, where reduction and restraint allow images to speak with clarity and depth.

Colour appears selectively, only where it supports the narrative of a place. Across all works, the emphasis lies on focus, concentration, and a deliberate way of seeing — allowing quiet moments and subtle contrasts to unfold.

Hajo Pirenz on the Leica Enthusiast Podcast

Hajo joins the Leica Enthusiast Podcast to speak about his contemplative approach to landscape photography along the Irish coast. In this episode, he reflects on working with the Leica M11 Monochrom, Leica Q2 Monochrom and Leica S3, and shares insights into process and practice—from the use of tripods and filters to the role of weather, composition, and patience.
It’s a conversation shaped by stillness, black and white imagery, and a deep sensitivity to place – exploring why meaningful photography so often begins with time, discipline, and deliberate choices.

Finding a piece that feels right

Art unfolds through dialogue, not in a shopping cart. Our works are not mass-produced. That is why we guide you personally through the selection.

Together, we help you find the right photography, format and finish for your wall. By placing selected works into images of your own interior, you can see how each piece interacts with the space – its presence, balance and mood – rather than viewing it against a generic backdrop.
